Vampire in Bombay

Halloween Special 2023 Prose. Enjoy 😀

Vlad the Dracula became Vladji Lal Baramkulla (also in the running was Vimal bhai in Boombai)

If the sweat wont melt, the heat would burn. But Vladji Lal Baramkulla was used to the sweltering Mumbai hot summer that would reach 38°. What Vladji lal Baramkulla was not used to was the apathy of the BMC. Surly he could suck them dry, but then other will mushroom in their place and they will be even more motivated to massacre the peace. Vladji had worked hard to earn the credit to live amongst bloodless cretins.

It is getting hard though, the extra garlic vada pav was getting too garlicy and tho the BMC bums won’t have them they had something more sinister on their sleeve. The big bribes in the deepest pockets that reached the depths of the earth’s core BMC had the allowances of making and breaking the roads, that were perpetually under construction which would happen all day, seconds, minutes, hours and days.

The immortality of Vladji can be questioned but the weaponized incompetence and evil sorcery cannot.

The loud noise made immolating a much better option than visiting the regular haunts. There is no end to misery because how immortality dies? But there is suffering. And for once, Vladji Lal Baramkulalla feels like one with the Mumbaikars over their anguish for the authorities. If only, BMC were annihilated, if only global warming had a glimmer of light, if only dying was doable. But it’s not.

Vladji Lal is on the eternal turmoil and stuck into giving an introduction on this part of the smelly world where garbage on the road is as common as gold chain on these motherfuc*** necks. Ahh soft supple necks.

If only the necks were not as sweaty Vladji lal wouldn’t be mal nourished. Blood banks are always empty, and rent is high no where to go, the city never sleeps and there needs a flying permit and again the bribes make you want to rip the skin off yourself. Sigh. But here he is stuck on giving an introduction on forsaken land.

Welcome to Hell
